Indeed, even wiser would be to encrypt the quarantine folder so it doesn't matter where you place it or if you scan it. |

quarantine management is improved in the upcomiong version 1 - all quarantined files are zipped with password and logged in the database so you can restore them from the clamwin program.

I was just wondering if there is any way you could use ClamWin with the Win XP System Restore function to create a system restore point after each successful ClamWin complete hard drive scan. That way, if the next scan finds malware, perhaps it could set system restore to the previous good ClamWin restore point. Of course, you would probably have to consider any legitimate changes to the system made by the user after the ClamWin system restore point, but this might enable you to undo changes to the system made by malware--sort of a cheap disinfection of the system.
