Hi All, looked around couldnt find exactly where this should be posted but eh Smile

I am running clamwin on win 2003 and was wondering how to set it up as a service. This is because unless someone is permanently logged in it wont auto update or scan as per the schedules as they are no longer running when the user logs out?

Or is their some other way I can do this?

Thanks
Michael

sc.exe won't work with clamwin.exe as it requires an active desktop. You mau use windows task scheduler and clamscan and freshclam utilities.

unfortunately not - for the same reason. You need a console or a windowless program to run as a service
