I installed "ClamWin Free" Antivirus and everytime I run a scan I keep getting an error on each item. Can't seem to run the scan without an error. How do I configure the program to prevent this. Please send reply to dmoodyorchids@hotmail.com. Thanks, iddawg

seems the "freshclam" didn't get installed. An "install shield" came up and of course I chose the "recommended" line which i guess blocked the freshclam from getting downloaded. now i can't figure out how to get it back.
any help would be appreciated. I'm not so computer savvy.....thanks!!

if you see those lines it means that freshclam is installed.I guess you need to allow freshclam to connect in your firewall

i am also facing the same problem... please help ...as i am not able to figure out how to configure the fresh clamwin. i am also pasting the exact report while scanning...

it seams you have a proxy but not configured them in the clamwin options

in both cases the firewall doesn't allow dns query, that is ok if your are able
to download updates via http

hi everybody,

just lately i´ve installed the virus scanner clam win.
Each time i activated the scan, it takes hours to run through. But, all of the sudden, after about 6 or 7 hours, it freezes and i don´t know, wheter or not, the detected viruses or other bad files are deleted.

Can somebody help me with these matter?
