Hi,

We've got an installation of ClamwinAV on our company's computer. This computer's can only acces a few web sites (all are secured)
through Mozilla Firefox 2. We also activated the mail's alert system and the daily scan.

I've got now about 80 new messages in my inbox each days for HTML.PHISHING.GOLD. I'm almost sure that's a false alarm (I thik it's only a
<form> in an html page who is recognized as a phishing because of his action location)

Don't you know how could I avoid this knowing that I need the mail's alert system ???

Thanks for reading and answering my poor english, It's not my mother tongue.

Julien

when you say

do you mean email alerts?

If so then most likely these false psoitive detections reside in the Firefox cache - you can examine the report and remove them or empty the cache.

Yes I mean email alert.

The virus is indeed in the firefox cache. But I can't empty the cache automatically before the AV scan !
And I need the email alert as well.

Cant'I disable this false positive from the email alert ?

well if the antrivirus knew it was a false positive it would not detect is as such... So there is no way to disable this. If you send me a file that causes it, the virus database will eventually get updated and the false positive removed. my emil is alex at clamwin dot com.
