Hi,

after the update to 0.88.5 I have this Scan Report.

C:\Programme\ClamWin\bin\clamscan.exe.dmp: Vengence-E-2 FOUND
What is happened. I found nothing in this forum about the virus. What can I do to fix the problem.

If you didn't have the virus before the update, it is probably a false positive which you shouldn't worry about. I suggest you reinstall ClamWin and then see if you get the message again.

Before you do, however, on the unlikely chance that the update contained a virus, make sure ClamWin was set to quarantine when you found the "virus." Is there anything in the quarantine folder? If quarantine was on and there is nothing in quarantine, try the reinstall.

If ClamWin wasn't set to quarantine when you found the virus, set it and scan again to see if it quarantines anything. If nothing gets quarrantined and you still get the message, do the reinstall and then scan to see what happens. If you don't get the virus message after the reinstall, it was a false positive.

If you still get the message after the reinstall, I suggest you do an online scan at Kaspersky or McAfee and use their removal proceedures. Scan with ClamWin after that, and tell the ClamAV people about the incident.
