I too am getting a huge number of the same error, and the scan is taking forever. What can be done, by the average user, to correct this and ensure that the scanner will catch what it's supposed to?

I've seen this too on my Win2003 pc. It doesn't say which file is scanned at the time, only that a file cannot be created (see the first post on this thread for an example).
I have no idea what causes this.
