c runtime for visual studio 2005 are not compatible with nt4, however I've made a patcher to avoid this, but there is another component that
is not compatible with nt4, I may suggest changes to alch for the next release but it's easy he don't agree about this, I will make a legacy installer if possible

How many NT users are on ClamWin? How much of your time will it take to develop an NT legacy installer? Will it soon be made obsolete by future versions of ClamWin?

As a practical matter, it's difficult to support every OS. I was lucky to find ClamWin when it still supported Win 98, but I'm migrating to Win XL next week.

@GuitarBob
not so long, but I had to use vc6 clamav binaries and patch shell.pyd
the problem is supporting it Smile

Yes, that's why I'm moving to Win XP in a couple of days--so I will have access to support if it's ever needed. It took me a couple of years to move to the IBM PC from my Atari computer back in the 1980s, but I won't make that mistake again! If a PC owner expects ongoing support for legacy OS/equipment, he/she must learn how to do it for themselves.

Keep up the good work!
