when I scan with clamwin free antivirus.I get error,malformed database.Can anyone advise.ericstarling

As the message says, you have a malformed database for some reason. Maybe a regular scheduled update was corrupt or did not completely update, and ClamWin can not use the database. This happens sometimes, but not very often. What you need to do is delete every file in the ClamWin virus database located at C:\ProgramData\.clamwin\db on your computer and then do a manual update by right clicking the ClamWin icon in your system tray and then selecting Download Virus Database Update. Close ClamWin after the update is finished.
