Bug Report: False 'new version' alert message on Win98SE

I am running ClamWin on Win98SE (with KernelEx 4.5.2). Since some months every day when I go online (I only plug the LAN walwart in when I need), I get a bubble help message that a new version of ClamWin (number is not displayed) would be ready to download, despite I already have installed the most recent version 0.99.4.

Months ago I also occasionally got a huge bubble help showing garbage (error message of the server?) instead of anything useful to the user. Please add a sanity check (e.g. search for certain words) to ClamWin to prevent this from happening.

Please see my previous post re: the source for ClamWin and the resources of ClamWin.

Any warning about an outdated version refers to Clam AV--not ClamWin. The ClamWin developers have never suppressed this warning--don't know why, but I guess it would require changing the Clam AV source code from the Linux port. Just ignore it. The current version of ClamWin is .99.4--the ClamWin developers have not seen fit to prepare ports for the last several versions of Clam AV over to ClamWin.

Yes it is ClamAV 0.99.4 and the bug apparently comes from ClamSentinel.

The german language message is:

Es ist Version  verfügbar.

Note the multiple spaces between "Version" and "verfügbar". Apparently the version number is wrongly transmitted by the server, so it thinks every time the version was new. My Clam Sentinel is version 1.22, which matches the newest version on its website.
