Win.Trojan.Test-11 FOUND

Hi,

I got alert on a clamav pdf document file. When i scanned it with another AV it doesnt find it as infected. Please suggest is this genuine.

Clam Win gives more false positive detections than other AVs. Go to virustotal dot com, and you can check the file with many other antivirus programs. If several of them see an infection, it is probably true. I like to see at least 2 of these AVs verify something: Avira, Bitdefender, Nod32, Kaspersky, and Sophos.

I have also encountered this Win.Trojan.Test-11. So depending on this virus I have lost 80% of the data. I have got restore all the data by visiting https://microsoftsupport.co/microsoft-support-uk , you can also visit it and resolve your issue.

A quick check on the referenced URL location on virus Total turns up a malware indication by Fortinet. No other web filters on Virus Total detect anything; however, I have found Fortinet to have a very good web filter. It may be that it harbored viruses at one time and it is now clean, but I would not mess with this location. It could be that it is a support scam of some type.

Like I said, check your file out on Virus Total. It looks to me like a false positive detection, but check it out.
