There is no scan progress bar to let you see the overall scanning progress, but you can tick the a scanning option in the ClamWin general preferences-scanning options to show the % of progress for each file as it is being scanned.
Thanks for using ClamWin! Regards, |

You are welcome! ClamWin badly needs an update--GUI and real-time scanning capability (including a cache for virus signatures).

Agreed, but I'm of the old school that believes beauty is as beauty does and Clamwin is quite remarkable in its efficiency of doing what it was designed to do. If a utility is great, I don't care if it only runs in DOS at the command line, but a gui is nice.
Off topic, I have two acoustic Takamine guitars, one classical, the other is acoustic with pickup, that I "practice" on. Oh, and a Washburn electric solid body I bought new decades ago for $125 (including amp and carry case). Have to say the action is quite remarkable. Unbelievable value. How 'bout you? |

Gear:
1962 Silvertone Electric--cheap Les Paul knock-off purchased new 1962 Sears amp--one 12 in speaker with reverb/tremlo, 2 channels but only 1 works Takamine EG334 acoustic only--neck beats my fingers to death but has a nice sound Raintree acoustic-electric--carbon fiber body/fiberglass neck (my favorite), doesn't need much tuning, impervious to humidity/temp Hohner acoustic only (everyday use)--neck tends to warp a bit, but it's the most playable neck I've ever had. Style (mostly acoustic): country/blues/rock, play a bit of slide Regards, |

Thanks for that. I can't sing a lick so I gravitated to what I call Latin jazz and stuff like this...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFzoWmVTUUg and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uygHFzgKg_8 Heavy right hand work. Then I had chemo treatments that caused a tremor in my right hand. Now my instruments sit in my study mostly as furniture. Rock on! |

Sorry about the hand. I had a problem in 2015 with the right hand that was mostly cured with cervical (neck) surgery and carpal tunnel surgery. Prior to that, I had a problem with the left hand in 2012 after shoulder cuff surgery. Both times I did my own rehab after therapists couldn't do much. Here's what I did:
Clicked ball point pen with affected hand. If you can't click, don't worry--just touch the clicker with thumb. Work up to 50 times. Try to push down after severl weeks. AFter you get stronger, add this: hold a pen with a removable top in the affected hand and put top between hand/thumb and push top up to remove and down to replace top. If you can't remove, don't worry--just put pen between thumb and hand and then touch top with thumb. AFter several weeks, try to push up/down again. Squeeze a very soft rubber ball. If you can't squeeze, try as much as you can. After you get some strength, move up to a bit harder ball. When you get fairly strong, get 2 of those Chinese worry balls and manipulate them with the affected hand. Do each exercise 50 times. I hope this helps. By the way, U can contact me at rscrogg at gmail dot com. Regards, |
