Hi all,
I am looking for the best antivirus which should works perfectly fine on Windows 7 and doesn't slow it down.
Looking for some good options..

These forums are for the ClamWin antivirus for Windows. Unfortunately, ClamWin does not have a real-time scanner. It is an on-demand scanner that should be used as a backup to a real-time scanner. Any of the brand-name commercial AV scanners should offer good protection for your computer. Some of them have a free version that is just about as good as their paid version. There also is Microsoft's free Windows Defender or Security Essentials (for computers with Windows operating systems older than Windows 8). You will have less problems with them.
The brand of antivirus is not as important as configuring it properly so that it updates automatically, quarantines malware files automatically, and provides a method to restore files that are wrongly quarantined (false positives).
