Most "permission denied" notices are okay--malware usually likes to be more stealthy than letting you see a notice like that. If you are concerned about a running program/process, you could get into Windows Safe Mode and then do a scan. Safe mode opens with a minimum of processes/programs/drivers, and lots of malware can't hide then.
Kaspersky and Emsisoft are good tools. You don't need much more in the way of backup security programs--just keep them current. Thanks for using ClamWin! Regards, |
