Errors are like a notification. For example, ClamAV doesn't scan a extension, so thus, it notifies you (error message) about how it didn't scan that file.

The point is that it didn't show what file it had a problem with. the only thing it showed were the ones that it couldn't open, NOT the ones it classed as errors.

There is LibreOffice and OpenOffice, but those are not the same as Microsoft Office and they use their own filetypes. @Sirius200: It could be that maybe the counter is just off or perhaps there are errors it's not showing, I do not know. Feel free to file a bug report at ClamAV's bugzilla and see what they say about it: https://bugzilla.clamav.net/ |
