Are you using Clam antivirus or ClamWin antivirus? This forum(s) is devoted to ClamWin, which is a Windows antivirus. Clam is a Linux antivirus. ClamWin makes a Windows port for the Clam scan engine, but it is not affiliated with Clam.
If you are using ClamWin, could you be more specific about "sending" something to us. Users don't usually send us virus files. It might help if you copy any "send" messages and paste it here in a ClamWin forum post.

Okay. Thanks for using ClamWin!
To copy a report for pasting later, hold down the right click on the mouse and drag your cursor from beginning of the detail you want to copy to the end of the detail. Then let up the right click on the mouse. Then put the mouse somewhere on the highlighted material and right click the mouse again to bring up the mouse menu. Then select Copy from the menu. You have just put the detail into memory. Then come here to the ClamWin forum and select the Reply menu item below the post that you want to answer. This opens up a forum reply message. Type your message and at the spot in your message where you want to put the report, right click on the mouse and select Paste--to bring your copied material back from memory. When you are through, select Submit at the bottom of your forum message to post it. You can edit your message after it has been posted by selecting Edit at the top of your message and then select Submit at the bottom of your message when you are through editing it and ready to post.
That's it! Let me know if this isn't clear enough.
By the way, ClamWin is not a real-time scanner, so for the best protection, it should be used as a backup scanner to a real-time scanner like Windows Defender, Avira, Panda Free or Forticlient--all free real-time antiviruses.
