I just joined the forums with successful verification. I appear to be able to post new topics as the existence of this one demonstrates. The interface also reports I am permitted to reply to topics. But when I try to reply to a topic I get a 403 error dialogue with the text "You are not permitted to access posting.php on this server."

The post to which I was trying to apply is: https://forums.clamwin.com/posting.php?mode=quote&p=18848 (That's the exact URI that generates the 403).

So about that, anyone know what's up?

If you try to make more then 1 post in a certain time, it will give you a access denied. I always assumed it was sometime of spam filter that Alch applied.

I took a quick look, and it looks like the quote has never been stopped. You might try it without the quotes and see what happens.

As RRK says, sometimes I am not able to post again for a while after I have done a post.
