Are you using a custom set of extensions to scan that does not include .zip?

Thanks, but no. I do not even know something about of extensions!
If I go into that directory, select the files in question, bring up the scan dialog, then all these files are scanned. Regards, Manfred

What are the names (filename, extension) of the files and the name/location of the new foldler?

No I'm not a coder. I don't know if ClamWin is set up for drive L--perhaps in the Explorer scan--that might be the problem. If so, probably the only way to correct it is to change the code. See if you can set up a scheduled scan.
