Hi all. I like ClamWin a lot, but one thing is bothering me. The quarantine folder is easily accessible by every human or software that have access to my computer. Can you consider making this folder accessible by/through ClamWin only?

During the ClamWin installation, there is an option to install ClamWin for yourself or everyone using this computer. If you don't want anyone using ClamWin that has access to your computer, I would recommend selecting install for yourself.

Can I just hide it? Will ClamWin work correctly if this folder is hidden?

I think you can hide it--ClamWin can see folders that I can not see on my computer.
I wouldn't worry much about this, however. Someone would need access to your computer (physical or remote), technical ability to take advantage of the folder, and a motive to do so. I think you are fairly safe. I would give this 1/10 of 1 percent probability of this happening to you.
The ClamWin developers do need to make some changes to the quarantine area, however to make the QRecover quarantine browser accessable from the ClamWin menu. Perhaps they could scramble/encrypt the files in quarantine when/if they do this. Some AVs scramble/encrypt their quarantined files.
Thanks for using ClamWin!
Regards.

Just to confirm: ClamWin is working fine with quarantine folder hidden.
