Has anyone seen a problem with ClamWin and SQL server where the server will slow down to a crawl and randomly kick everyone out of the SQL server connections? Short background: Small office with roughly 20 computers. SQL server express is installed with a commercial software on the server and the client program (same install but no SQL server install by user selection as a client). The software vendor is trying to make us buy a full SQL server license to 'see if that fixes problem'. I am grasping at straws now to find a solution and figured I would post here to see if anyone has seen this problem or has a solution to try.

You will probably have a better chance of getting help with your software at a site that is devoted to it. This/these forums are devoted to the ClamWin open source antivirus software for Windows.

Thanks GuitarBob!
I have been battling that company for at least 2 years and my client is just about ready to scrap their investment in that software and start fresh again with some other software. As I posted, I am just grasping at straws to see if any one else has encountered this problem. I professionally and personally feel their software is at fault. The computer is a 'true' server and not a desktop tasked to be a server. The computer has a quad core Xeon processor with 16GB of memory and performance monitor tells me it is loafing along.

Yes - their suggestion to "fix" the problem doesn't sound too good. Good luck!
