The animation is the scan window is unnecessary and distracting and is a problem for accessibility for people with vision issues. Please let the user disable it.
Oh, and it's seriously ugly.

Yes, that animation was popular back about 1996, and it's a bit on the old side. I hope that a more modern tile arrangement is in the works. It seems that more AVs are now coming with some skins also--that's nice.
