Are you certain the file contains a trojan? It could be a false detection (false positive). ClamWin can have a false positive now and then, but it can not be removed, it is probably a trojan. Make sure you have ClamWin's infected file option set to quarantine. If it was not set to quarantine, do another scan after you set it.

I suggest you download Malwarebytes free antimalware, and install it and update it. Then run a Quick Scan on your computer. It nothing is found, then run a full scan of your computer. Malwarebytes also has a free antirootkit program that is good at finding hidden malware. Both programs are available for free at at https://www.malwarebytes.org/downloads/ on the web. The antirootkit does not have to be installed--just unzip it somewhere.

Good luck!

If ClamWin is the only virus scanner that detects an infection in a file, it is a "false positive" detection. You can upload false positive detected files to Clam AV at https://www.clamav.net/lang/en/ on the web. Select the Submit A File option, and then select to Report A False Positive--do not select to Send A Malware File. Clam AV will correct their signature for all Clam AV and ClamWin users.

I also think that you do not need that free downloader file. Downloaders often contain adware and sometimes viruses. Either one can slow down your computer, so I suggest that you uninstall the downloader and see if that helps your browser. I also suggest that you download Malwarebytes free antimalware and scan with it. Keep it on your computer, update each day and do a manual scan with it.

ClamWin is only an on-demand virus scanner. An on-demand scanner does not scan as you browse the web (in real-time). It only scans when you tell it to or when you do a scheduled scan. You should use a real-time scanner like Microsoft Security Essentials (Windows Defender on Windows 8 computers) that scans while you browse the web to prevent most viruses from infecting your computer. Use ClamWin as a backup scanner that runs a scheduled scan each day.
