This is the same as my report and several months later. I am surprised nobody responded. Help! I would really like to know what this is, if it is malware or spyware, etc. Also, how can I know what antimalware sites are ok?
I ran my ClamWin in safe mode and it scanned just fine. So, does that mean that whatever is going on is relatively minor? Thank you! ![]() |

ClamWin / ClamAV uses the standard Windows API, which cannot access some files. It's usually because of 2 things, both are normal.
1. Another application opened the file without specifying read sharing. 2. ACL settings don't allow read access. (If you're using Vista or later, right-click on a file and go to properties, then select the security tab) |
