Welcome to ClamWin!

Sometimes (not often) you get a malformed (bad) database when installing or when updating. I get one a couple of times each year. Try deleting all files in your ClamWin database--you can tell where it is from the ClamWin File Locations Folder tab--it will be the location shown below the Virus Database Folder item. Just navigate to that location with Windows Explorer and delete all the filles (normally 4 files: main, daily, bytecode, and mirrors). Then do a manual virus database update via the ClamWin icon in your system tray (or via the ClamWin desktop icon).

Also make sure that Automatic Virus Database Updates is enabled in the ClamWin Internet Updates tab.

Let us know if you still have problems.
