Hey.
i am looking for the solution to scan the files in my web application during upload. in my application, i allow user to upload the files and i want to scan those files first.
can i do it using ClamWin?

ClamWin does not scan as files are they are accessed. It is an on-demand scanner that scans when you tell it to--either with a manual scan via the Windows Explorer right context menu or via a scheduled scan. You might could do somethig with a dedicated directory for files to be uploaded and do a manual scan as files are placed in that directory or do a scheduled scan of the directory before uploads (but you would have to cut off- at a certain time for any new files to be added and not permit any new additions until after the scan.

thanks a lot for the reply and clarifying the solution provided by clamwin. i have looked for SSE 5.2 which provide these capabilities. will try to look into it.

i also run a cloud sharing site, but i never thought about the scanning while uploading, i always scan the files once uploaded, But you raised a good point. I will also try this.
