You need a file hasher program to calculate the signature of a file. There are several available for free on the web--just do a search for "file hashers." I like DP Hash. Get one that can calculate several different kinds of hashes. The MD5 hash is old but still used a lot. SHA-1 and SHA-256 are newer. SHA-256 is sort of the standard now.

I'm sorry--I thought you wanted a hex figure for the entire file. If you want to see the hex representation for everything in the file, you wil need a hex editor. Just do a search for "hex editors" on the web. The free HxD program is pretty good.
