Hello I'm a fully blind person, I love your program, you've so nearly got it fully wright! But I have a cuppal of things to make the program just that little bit easyer with JAWS and other screen readers, 1. The information that states, (Hold Shift key to select multiple files or folders), will not read with JAWS when tabbing around the program, JAWS will just stick at that point and not say anything, I also tryed this with NVDA And NVDA does the same thing?
2. The help information has been ritten out great in the about box, but it would be great to see this information how you have your skan data, so we can coppy and paste the information out to people, such as your website, because at this time we can't coppy out the website Address!
3. on the pattens Tab of the Pattens Options on The Tools Tab, this is really the most baddest part of the program to access! When we tab around the Pattens Options tab, all we get is the following: Button Button Button Button, and the list of Patents, wich reads fine! But from my point it's very hard to work out what's what! But what are these Four unlabaled buttons? Also when changeing Pages in the Tools Options, I notest that JAWS would stick on some of the pages and it would take a cuppal of Control Tabbs to get out of that page into the next page.
4. The timer to set the pre-Defined-Skans, isn't that easy to find, and The timer to set the pre-Defined-Skans should be put in The pre-Defined-Skan options, of wair you go and set the pre-Defined skan options, but all in all a great and usable friendly program to be used out of the box by a totaly blind person, I would just like to say a big thank you and keep up the good work, if you can make the changes out-lined above, this will be so much better for everyone not just myself! Kind Regards ,and looking forward to your reply, Brendon44

Hi Brendon,
Unfortunately the limitations of the program user interface are imposed by the antiquated graphical interface library we use - wxWidgets. We have to use this old bversion because newer stuff does not work well with Windows 98.
There is little we can do to help... Sorry.
Cheers,
Alex

Hi, thank you very much for your reply! I totally understand you about that! But it's nearly there! just really little fixes! Such as: The help information has been ritten out great in the about box, but it would be great to see this information how you have your skan data, so all you would need to do is to coppy your scan edit field into the about box, so we can coppy and paste the information out to people, such as your website, because at this time we can't coppy out the website Address! 3. on the pattens Tab of the Pattens Options on The Tools Tab, this is really the most baddest part of the program to access! When we tab around the Pattens Options tab, all we get is the following: Button Button Button Button, this is because the four buttons have know lable asined to the buttons, that's the only buttons that don't have lables on them in the whole program! I can give you a free screen reader that you can test with! You have just so got it wright all the messages are wright! You have such a wonderful and great program and it is just such a wonderful program to have and work with, but just these little problems wich isn't much that I can see, and the best way is to have a screen reader there so you can see it for your selfs, because it's one thing for me to tell you but it's a big diffrents when you have the screen reader turned on and are testing with it! Please let me know?

That is exactly where wxwdigets falls short - these four buttons are part of the wxwidgets control for in-place edit listbox. These are notstandard buttons and have no text labels. We cannot add the text labels for this control in our code .

So there isn't any-way at all that you can lable those buttons? And how about the about window being a edit field? And the text that isn't being read by my screen reader? wich is (Hold Shift key to select multiple files or folders) , this is why I asked you if you would like to test with the screen reader?
