When scanning full C:\ it finished before finishing scanning all contents of Program Files (in Spanish called "Archivos de programa", so it finishes before scanning most of the files), and with any .RAR or .ZIP it founds says "RAR module failure" or "ZIP module failure".

Any solution?

If I select other folder, it also stops before finishing, seems that problems with big number of files.

Hi,

I have the same problem. The scanning finished before all files are scanned.

Can I send an example file? I have found an text-file, were the scanning stops without a normal massege.

t may be caused by cygwin version conflict. Please search your computer for presence of cygwin1.dll file. If you find it elsewhere then c:\program files\clamwin\bin folder, overwrite it with the one from clamwin\bin.

can you try to scan just that one text file with clamwin (and one after it in the folder) and see if clamwin would still hang?

I think it would be easier to find files that crashes clamscan
if name of last scanned file was saved in log file.
On my disk there are some such files. Maybe there should
be recovery from such crash?
