Hi every one
I was surfing and suddenly came this scanning for viruses software "xp security center 2012", looking like the security center of windows. Tell me it scanned my computer and founded x virus with scarry names... I couldn't get any program open without getting it's windows telling me I shouldn't open it because it was infected.
The only thing I could do is go on their web site to purchase their protection.
my computer cannot restart and i have to reinstall...
Confused
Do someone know them ? they really deserve a trial!

Most definitely malware. By installing it or purchasing it you basically paid for a virus.

Use another Anti Virus to remove it. You can pick them up off anything.

Try a scan in Windows Safe Mode with ClamWin (update it first). Some viruses have trouble in Safe Mode and are easier to find/remove that way.

If ClamWin doesn't help, try Malwarebytes' free antimalware program. It does a good job against common viruses.

You should be able to remove this in safe mode by using ClamWin

I'm afraid I have bad news.

Your logs reveal a backdoor trojan. A backdoor severely compromises system integrity.

A compromised system may allow illicit network connections, disabling of security software, modifying critical system files and collection and transmiission of personal identifiable information without your consent.

I recommend that you disconnect this PC from the Internet immediately, and only reconnect to download any tools that are required. If you do any banking or other financial transactions on the PC or it if it contains any other sensitive information, please get to a known clean computer and change all passwords where applicable, and it would be wise to contact those same financial institutions to apprise them of your situation.

Though the Trojan has been identified and can be killed, because of it's backdoor functionality, your PC is very likely compromised and there is no way to be sure your computer can ever again be trusted. Many experts in the security community believe that once infected with this type of Trojan, the best course of action would be a reformat and reinstall of the OS. If it were on my PC I would not hesitate for a moment

I've had one of those before....like lfreddecolo said, this kind of "fake antivirus" is a trojan that allows other malware in. When my old PC was infected with a similar fake AV, it even disabled my legit AV program, changed my homepage, and brought in some...dirty popups. As aforementioned, you can remove it in Safe Mode, but just to be safe, it's best you reformat and reinstall the OS. Just be sure to back up your crucial files.

I have encountered this "anti virus" program many times over the past year. Several clients have picked it up while surfing and as much as I hate to admit it i have even gotten hit by it twice Embarassed! Running Malwarebytes from safe mode will get rid of it, but remember that there could still be traces left that anti virus and anti malware programs might not detect. It is best to "get rid of it" then back up any important files on the computer, then do a full format and reinstall your os. Might be a little over paranoid, but that way you make sure its totally gone.

Malwarebytes usually cleans all relevant files left by any virus it detects. If it does miss something, it will not harm your computer
