Everytime I run Clamwin now, it gets about half way though the process and I get an error message about a corrupt file, it says the files is in C:\program Data\Intuit\common\update service\v2\
logs\client log.txt Then it tells me to run scan disk. I cannot find any file that even starts with c:\program data

If this makes any sense to someone, I would sincerely appreciate the help

I just purchased Tune up 360 and that did not address the issue at all, still have the problem.

Thanks for any advise

I suggest that you send the file to Sherpya (sherpya at netfarm dot it) so the ClamWin guys can take a look at it. From what you said, it is a text file, and that should not be a problem for ClamWin. You might also exclude the text file extension (*.txt) from future ClamWin scans via the filters preference for exclude matching filenames.

Regards,

Thanks for your reply guitarbob,
If I could locate that file, I would send it to the people you were refrencing. I have done a search and I cannot even locate the file. I will try the scan like you suggested by excluding the .txt in prefrences. Thanks again!

Just type c:\ProgamData in the Windows Explorer address bar - click in the empty space and it will let you type.
