--exclude-dir fails Weekly Scans - Need Automation

I am using ClamWin on a Windows 2008 R2 server. I need to automate weekly system scans AND exclude specific directories from that scan. When I setup a scheduled scan via ClamWin preferences there is an option to exclude directories and it all works EXCEPT THEY WILL NOT EXECUTE UNLESS I AM LOGGED IN. What kind of idiocy is that?
As an alternate approach I setup a task scheduler job which calls clamscan. Task scheduler will execute the job but clamscan ignores the exclude-dir statement I provide it and I get false positives from non infected directories I am trying to exclude.

I have tried multiple variants of the exclude-dir statment :

--exclude-dir="C:\Program Files (x86)\Clamwin\bin\testvirus"
--exclude-dir="C:\Program Files (x86)\Clamwin\bin\testvirus\"
--exclude-dir="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Clamwin\\bin\\testvirus"
--exclude-dir="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Clamwin\\bin\\testvirus\\"
--exclude-dir="C:/Program Files (x86)/Clamwin/bin/testvirus/"
--exclude-dir="C://Program Files (x86)//Clamwin//bin//testvirus//"

Any clues how to make clamscan exclude directories properly? Or a method to insure the clamwin runs scheduled jobs without having to login?

Thanks.

What about excluding those directories in ClamWin's regular configuration menu under Filters?

The problem that I have experienced with ClamWin is that the scheduled scan will not run unless I leave my account logged into the system. That is an IA no - no so I can't do that. Yes, when use filters it excludes the directory, but again the issue then becomes that it won't run unless I am logged in.

Will other jobs besides the ClamWin scan run without you being logged in? Will ClamWin update without you being logged in?

Yes my automated execution of clamscan runs each night without being logged in as administrator. That is why I am flabbergasted that ClamWin task scheduling would be dependent upon being logged in. It is unheard of.

have however figured out the syntax for excluding directories when executing clamscan (after looking at a ubuntu forum posting).

It is: --exclude-dir=\directoryname

That simple no * ^ [ or drive letter required. So in a way I have solved my own problem.

It still would be nice to have used the ClamWin GUI instead however and expect the scheduler to execute without being logged in .... oh well. If anyone has suggested why this might be so or how to correct that would be great.
