I'm looking to find out the details of what these two viruses I found do: Torjan.BAT-48 and Heuristics.Encrypted.Zip

I'm using clamav 0.96.5 and freshclam was updated Jan 18 2012 EST

Has anyone done any research on these on what they might do.

If you still have the files, upload them (one at a time) to Jotti or Virus Total. Look at the names other scanners give to the viruses, and do a Google search on the name used by one of the high profile AV companies, like Avira AntiVir, Bitdefender, Eset NOD32, Kaspersky, or Sophos. That should turn up something.

If you are a techie, you could get a MD5 or SHA-1 file hash for a file, and search for that file hash on Google.
