hello found that scanning with clamwin produces a very fast report with only 1 file scanned while scanning with say avast produces report with large number files
is there something I should be aware of when configuring clamwin or this feature is simply not meant to be there?
thanks

There is no configuration for this. The Clam AV scanning engine used by ClamWin does not scan some files in detail, including ISO. On the other hand, the Clam scan engine does a better job at scanning archive files than some other AVs do. It all goes back to Clam AV's original user profile that consisted primarily of email scanning services.
I've never seen very many viruses in ISO files. The default ClamWin configuration is probably sufficient for most users. Just make sure you have Scan within archives activated in the Limits tab.
