It's okay to leave viruses in the quarantine folder if you want to do that. They will not harm anything.
To delete them, however, you can manually go to the quarantine folder on your C drive (the ClamWin File Location configuration tab will tell you where it is on your computer). Once you open up the quarantine folder, right click your mouse on each file and click Delete. It wil be put in your Recycle Bin. Thanks for using ClamWin and welcome. If you are on the web a lot, I suggest you get a real-time antivirus program and use ClamWin as a backup, since ClamWin does not work in real-time (it is an on-demand/schedule scanner only). I suggest Microsoft Security Essentials or Avast. The Clam Sentinel project also has a nice little program that lets you use ClamWin in a real-time mode. It is available at https://sourceforge.net/projects/clamsentinel/ on the web. Regards, |

Back up all the important files and boot your computer in safe mode, log on as the Admin and select the infected file and hold shift then press the delete key (this bypasses the recycle bin and completely removes it).
