You can upload questionable files to Jotti or Virus Total, where they will scan a file with multiple AVs. If several AVs say a file is infected, you can probably believe it. Just to make sure, I like to see a couple of these AVs spot something: Avast, Bitdefender, Kaspersky, NOD 32, or Sophos.
Report false positives (and undetected viruses) to Clam AV, which you can access via the ClamWin Help menu: Help, About, Clam AV icon. When you get to the Clam AV main page, select, Submit A File. When you get to the upload form, select the False Positive catergory, and tell the exact name of the virus in the Comments section. Regards, |

I apologize for the late reply. I submitted to both sites and of all the scanners used, only ClamWin thinks the file is a Trojan. So I am confident the file is all right.
