How do I delete all my scan reports

The location of ClamWin scan reports is shown under the configuration tab for Reports (log). You can go there and manually delete them. The optional reports you choose at the end of a scan are under the Programs\ClamWin\bin directory as something like this: clamav_report_041010_011146.txt.

The free version is the only version of ClamWin. Are you sure you are talking about ClamWin and not some other scanner?

I have the Clamwin free version and from Aug 23 until now my reports file is still there, I went to preferences and clicked on reports but theres no where to delete the reports. I tried what guitor bob told me to do but no place to click to delete report folder, maybe they just stay there. Should be something else I can click to delete them.

You have to go to the directory on your computer where the scan reports are located and delete them manually. There is no way to delete them from within the ClamWin program itself. The scan reports are located in the ClamWin\bin directory, as I said. The scan logs are located in the directory shown under the Reports tab. You can delete them the same way.

I'm a novice and I'm having trouble trying to delete the scan files that have build up since my repair man put in Clamwin during a trip to his shop for repairs. Where would I find the directory. Am I the only one that can't figure this out??

Okay.

Click on the ClamWin system tray icon. Click on Configure ClamWin. Click on the Reports tab. You will see where the scan report file is located on your computer. You can go to that location in Windows Explorer and do a manual delete. You can also copy this location and paste it in Windows Explorer, go there and do a manual delete.

I can't see any reason why you would want to delete the scan report file though. The size is limited to 1 MB by default (unless you change itl) and will never be bigger than that. When 1 MB is reached, it starts over.

If you save any reports after a scan (when asked if you want to do so), they will be located somewhere else.
