Hello Everyone
First I want to say it's a great antivirus and seems it will have a good future
Second I want to say when I read some portions of the source code I see it doesn't have an emulator (except yc emulator) to detect polymorphic viruses or support heuristic detections .
I suggest to add an open source emulator to the application to make it run when the md5 scan failed to detect any virus .
I suggest to use Pokas x86 Emulator (https://sourceforge.net/projects/x86emu/) (as I'm the Author of it) or support ida-emulator by Crist Eagle

Since ClamWin uses the scanning engine provided by the Clam AV people, I suggest you contact Clam about this. Their page is at https://www.clamav.net/lang/en/ on the web. Luca Gibelli is probably the person to contact. They may be interested, if they can get beyond the fact that Clam is primarily for use on Linux email servers.
The Clam Sentinel Project (https://sourceforge.net/projects/clamsentinel/ on the web) provides a pretty good set of heuristics for ClamWin users that employ the Clam Sentinel real-time front end scanner for ClamWin.

When you get to the Clam main page on the web, click on Contacts under the Main Menu section on the left side of the screen.
