When I try and scan Raw email files I get the following message once it finds a virus.
"C:\MailBOX\CE5BEA1D3DE3BA118F4DA69009974AB4305A36A.MSG: Trojan.Agent-168230 FOUND
C:\MailBOX\CE5BEA1D3DE3BA118F4DA69009974AB4305A36A.MSG: no action performed on a mailbox"
how do I scan and have it clean/quarantine a single file email (*.msg)
version = 0.96.2.1

I think this has been covered several times in the ClamWin forums. Try to do some searching.

I have. My emails are 1 email per a file. I have not seen anything that matches my problem.
I must be using the wrong search criteria or something. Can you point me to the correct thread?

Perhaps this will help: https://www.clamwin.com/content/view/38/27/ from the ClamWin FAQ page. Also, did you check the ClamWin Help file?
If that is no help, perhaps someone else who uses ClamWin on email will post.

Hi All,
I have a similar question
I am running win server 2003 and mDaemon. I want it to delete the individual message files if virus found inside one, but get the "md50000074358.msg: no action performed on a mailbox" error in the log file and the infected files are omitted.
I read in various places that there is an option in the advanced tab "treat files as mailboxes" - this seems to be the switch I need, but it does not seem to exist in version 0.96.2.1
Any idea how I can get Clamwin to delete or quarantine individual .msg files?
With thanks
Henryk
