There is a virus going around facebook that I unknowingly caught through an email. Clamwin got most of it but my browser continues to redirect me when I hit a link in a search engine. This happens when I use any type of search engine. I have tried different ones, same thing happens. I have rescanned everywhere I know to scan and it still keeps doing it. Any ideas?

You might try a system restore to a point before you caught the malware. Failing that, you might download the free version of Malwarebytes' Antimalware program at https://www.malwarebytes.org/index.php on the web and run a quick scan. It generally does a good job of cleaning up malware traces, which many AVs don't bother with. You might try a regular quick scan with it and then a quick scan in Safe Mode (F8 repeatedly upon bootup). Failing that, if you can get to the web search page you want, see if you can make it the default search in your browser.

I can get to the page if I paste the address or it is n my favorites. Its jumping off the search engine sites I am having the issues with. I have malware. It isnt detecting anything anymore, but I know something has been missed.

some malware can hide well once it gets onto your system. Try AVG rescue cd (free):
