I just installed Clamwin and scanned and this worm was found in memory. It is noted on the report, but I don't know how to remove it. Can someone help please?
Thanks!

If the worm was in memory, you can change ClamWin's General Preferences to Unload Infected Items From Memory--just tick that box at the bottom of the General Preferences. You can access preferences by right clicking on the ClamWin icon in the system tray, then select Configure ClamWin, and the 1st page that comes up should be the General Preferences tab. After you change the preference, do a memory scan and a complete hard drive scan with ClamWin. Then I suggest you run a scan with another antivirus program--either installed on your computer or one of the online scans (such as Bitdefender, NOD32, or Trend Micro).

ClamWin is an on-demand scanner. This means it only scans when you tell it to or when you have scheduled a scan to run. It is thus best used as a back-up scanner to a full-time/real-time scanner like Microsoft Security Essentials or Avast. Both programs are free.

The Clam Sentinel program enables ClamWin to provide partial real-time protection by scanning files when they are put on your computer and when existing files are modified. This protection is only partial, however, as it does not protect against some infection vectors. Therefore, if using ClamWin with Sentinel, you should also use some complimentary protection, such as Microsoft's free Windows Defender (antispyware) program and Threatfire or WinPatrol (behavior blockers). Sentinel is at https://sourceforge.net/projects/clamsentinel/ on the web.
