I've been having problems running scans under both the right-click command to scan a file and as a scheduled scan. Opening it allows me to scan by selecting a file, but this is the only way that I can scan. All other attempts give me an error message that the scan was aborted, although the scan window says that the process is complete... it just shows that nothing was scanned. Nothing that I could think of has been able to get the scan to work, but I think that the problem I'm having is that it is giving up its attempt to scan before I can give it permission from the user account control. Is there a way to give clamwin administrator privileges? I know that I can do a one time run as admin., but that doesn't really help me because it is only for the one time in the window that pops up... the same one that works anyways.
I'm probably going to do a test run with UAC disables, but I have no intention of leaving it that way.
