I was aware that ClamWin was planning to add the option to install the Ask.com toolbar; I downloaded and installed the latest version of ClamWin but chose NOT to install Ask because I don't use it. Personally I liked the ClamWin installer BEFORE the Ask toolbar was added, but I'll still use ClamWin anyway because it's a good free (open-source) virus scanner and it doesn't put any overhead on computer resources.

Hopefully the association with Ask will fund further development to make ClamWin even better.
