I want to scan a selected file. But I can't use the ClamWin menu integration because I have so many meny entries there (small screen laptop) and too many menu entries. I know there are utilities to manage the menu entries and cascade, but I don't like to bloat my Explorer even more.
I want to use SEND TO to send a selected file to ClamWin. I can do it with Avira Antivir as well.
I like the fact it is GUI so I don't want to use clamscan, prefer ClamWin.
I tried to create a shortcut in SendTo folder with following parameters....
"G:\Program Files\ClamWin\bin\ClamWin.exe" --mode=scanner --path="%"
Same thing will happen if I put %1 or withhout "" or with {}, I even tried %f, %d there...
Here is what happens. It can't scan. ClamWin window opens but then it says:
--------

Have you tried creating a batch-file (e.g. "scan.bat") with the command and add that to the sendTo directory?
In that case the full path will replace %1, so the command in the batch-file would be:
"G:\Program Files\ClamWin\bin\ClamWin.exe" --mode=scanner --path="%1"
PS, I haven't checked the clamwin command syntax, but that looks fine from what i remember
