Greetings:

ClamWin says it found Trojan.Buzus-5500 and quarantined it.
But, it apparently does not. Sunsequent scans continue to find it.
It says the file in question is SKYNETtttuecbf.dll but a search
says there is no such file.

Is this a false positive? Or?

Suggestions appreciated.

Try a ClamWin scan in Safe Mode (reboot and hit F8 until it registers). If that doesn't work, try a scan with the free Malwarebytes Antimalware program and/or the free Dr. Web Cureit program. Check the ClamWin antimalware page for locations.

After trying several malware trojan scanners I finally found one that
removed this Trojan.Buzus-5500 bug.

Its called HouseCall Beta 7 by TrendMicro.

Therefore you might be interested in checking out a
useful disinfection utility called

Version 7, Beta by TrendMicro. Its free and it works. A
very big upside to HouseCall is that it is Browser,
Java, and ActiveX independent. The only downside is you
must be online to use it. However, an advantage to this
is that HouseCall always obtains the latest malware etc
signatures.
