Every time I do a scan I get a blank report and a bubble pops up on my tray saying an error has occured see report.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled but I still get this bublle popping up saying error has occured see report.
The report says scan completed then the date.
Please could any one advise on this.

one possibility might be an incorrect %comspec% value. Please see this FAQ for how to check/fix:

thanks for that but being a bit of a newbie where do i find
Check what is your COMSPEC environment variable set to. To do that open command prompt and type:
set COMSPEC

Go to Start menu, choose Run then type
cmd.exe
and click "Run"
That will open the command prompt

Hi
I did this and a blck window opened so I typed COMSPEC as per instructions and the following appeared
comspec is not recognized as a internal or external command operable program or batch file
where do i go from here?
