Huge memory consumption

I experienced 700MB+ ... Is this ok? I have some big files, but they're around 1GB.

it should be the case normally, clamwin scans files in chunks. Which process was using all this memory (clamwin.exe or clamscan.exe) and can you replicate the problem?
