I would like to make a donation to the ClamWin Project but I have a couple of questions before:
What is the usal amount(just a rough idea) that people give ?
How much does ClamWin need before it can finish the version 1.0 ?

I noticed that it has been a while since you posted your question(s). I assume you asked them in a serious manner, so I'll provide a reply--as a fellow ClamWin user--not affiliated with the developers.

Here's the ClamWin donation page on the ClamWin Web site: https://sourceforge.net/donate/index.php?group_id=105508. You can see the suggested donation amounts there. I am sure that the developers appreciate all donations, and it certainly goes to a good cause--free, common sense open source software that takes input from users like us.

Note that Alch's post just before yours relating to quarantine mentions that Version 1 is in the final stages of development. There's no telling how long that will be, but it appears that it is not dependent upon additional funding and that it will be out some time later this year.

Again, I'm just another user like you, and that's my best reply.
