old whenu free version of deamon tools is detected as being a threat why? was deamon tools added to the defenitions as always infected or what?

The team at Clam Antivirus keeps up the signature database that both Clam and ClamWin use. You can upload false positive files to Clam at https://cgi.clamav.net/sendvirus.cgi on the Web and tell them it is a false positive.
If you have ClamWin's advanced preferences set to detect Potentially Unwanted Applications (PUA), it may detect "tools" that malware authors sometimes use, like keyloggers, packers, etc.. as malware. If you have installed some of these tools on your computer, you can uncheck the PUA option.
