Is there a method to tell the outlook plugin or
clamav lib to only scan specific files?

I was thinking about an config file in users dir.
Lets say .clamav.cfg with included statement
like 'exclude=*.jpg'

A config file that is generally read by the libclamav
process...

that wouldn't help much because main delay is when clamscan loads the database and it happens regardless of the filters
