Hello, clamwin report the symantec FixZotob.exe like a trojan FixZotob.A. The other antivirus like avp and avast don't report this. Thanks.

Some antivirus programs now rely quite a bit on heuristics to detect viruses/malware. However, if a virus writer changes the malware enough, heuristics can't catch it. ClamWin (and ClamAV) don't rely that much on heuristics--they primarily use virus signatures. Symantic doesn't rely as much on heuristics either. There's really no substitute for an exact signature, but it takes time for capable and dedicated analysts to find the virus and develop a signature, so users have some exposure from the time a virus is let loose on the Web until their virus software has a signature for it. The heuristics guys say they can find at least 60% of the viruses.
