Hello All:
I've recently installed the 0.88.7 release of Clamwin on a WinXP Media Edition machine with all recent Microsoft updates. I added a scheduled scan of my C: drive which is relatively unpopulated. Besides the base OS I have only a Java development environment, Wordperfect, OpenOffice, gvim, and a couple editors. During the scan I've noticed that the machine became unresponsive. Opening task manager shows that clamscan.exe is grabbing about 1M ever second. When I killed it, clamscan.exe showed a mem usage of over half a Gig (635,332K). There are no other virus scan packages installed on the machine.
